Frame Arms Girl (Series rating: 8.5/10)

This show is about tiny robot girls having tiny robot battles and living their tiny lives together. It’s cute. It’s really cute. It’s in the same vein as Busou Shinki a few yars back, but better. It’s great fun. Included is a little fanservice as well. Subs are by finFAGs, who did an amazing job. Enjoy the show.

Rewrite Vol.10-13 (Series rating: 6/10)

Here are the last 4 volumes. Rewrite is one of my person favorites. I loved the character and the different scenarios. It was very emotional at times and really took me for a ride.I am of course talking about the visual novel. This adaptation was terrible. Poor artwork, shoddy directing, horrible pacing, pathetic original route. The 2nd half was a bit better but they took a hatchet to the story in order to rush it and the results are a mediocre finale. I’ll give them points for the last scene which was pretty damn good but other then that…

Taboo Tattoo (Series rating :5/10)

Otherwise known as “Wasted Potential - The Anime”. This could have been a decent show. 1st episode had good animation and battle scenes. The powers are pretty cool. The character designs also nice. It went well… until episode 5. Then it kind of dove off a cliff and kept falling. The last episode is a joke. So much of a joke that I think the studio knew it was a joke and started taking the piss. Oh well… at least Arya stayed awesome all the way to the end. She was too good for this show.

Hatsukoi Monster (Series rating: 6/10)

I’m going to go ahead and say it right from the start: this release is a total mess. There is only one subtitle source and the timing for it is pretty bad. But that’s not the major issue. This release is missing the ED for every episode that uses the regular ED. Why? Because it’s 300 MB per episode. Sadly I only realized this after encoding the whole series. So I just cut out the ED from the episodes using MKVToolKit. It’s barbaric and as such there are some frames left of the ED. But I believe that saving almost 3GB was worth it.

Now as for the show, it’s not that good. But it has 12 episodes of Horie Yui making the most adorable voice. That’s actually the reason why I did this. I love her voice. I do have to admit that the show did make me laugh a couple of times. Anyway, not much else to say. Get it if you want. Don’t get it if you don’t.

Sadly the OVA is not included because there is no source for that.

Hinako Note (Series rating: 7/10)

Lemme talk to you about what I call lewd-cute. It’s a simple concept: a show featuring cute characters which also sprinkles a dash of lewdness. You probably know what I’m talking about. Anyway, this is that kind of show. I enjoyed it even though it’s nothing special. This was one of the more polarizing shows when it aired. You either loved it or hated it. The bluray version is “enhanced” if you catch my drift. Enjoy.

The Dragon Dentist (Series rating: 7,5/10)

This is technically a continuation of a short that aired during Animator Expo. Check out the short before watching this. It was quite interesting even though the story was a bit muddled. Worth a watch as it’s only about 90 minutes. Cool looking world.

Norn9 - Norn + Nonette (Series rating: 7/10)

I kind of liked this. Story is pretty nice actually and I love the soft animation it uses. Characters are decent as well though some do get annoying. I really enjoyed the fact that the main heroine has an actual offensive power for once and not the standard healing/protecting powers 99% of them do (there is a barrier maiden though). Also different from most otome game adaptations is the fact that there are three heroines which was refreshing. It gets really weird when there’s nine dudes all trying for the same girl. Enjoy. Subs are from Infantjedi and I’ve left the PGS subs inside the files. The recap episode was not on the discs.

ACCA - 13-Territory Inspection Dept (Series rating: 8/10)

A little political drama. It’s slow, but very atmospheric. Be warned that the pacing is quite slow but the payoff is worth it. I found myself really invested. Also didn’t exactly see the ending coming. It’s not a regular anime so you might want to check it out just for that.

Dance With Devils (Series rating: 7/10)

I really enjoyed this. It’s campy and fun. Songs are decent (two of them are actually pretty cool) and the guys are hot. The main heroine is not a complete doormat as 95% of reverse harem leads are. Story was nothing special but it was OK. A few twists here and there. Subs are by Senkatsu which were ripped from Funimation. Enjoy.
