I enjoyed this show a lot. It's absolutely insane, and many jokes and references will fly right over your head if you aren't versed in older anime. As a bonus, I've spliced in the clean openings and endings. It was a pain.

500 MB for 720p Hi10 encodes? This isn't 8-bit, so why so huge?
ReplyDelete^maybe because there are 2 audio tracks?
ReplyDelete@ tlacatlc6: I've never released 1080p.
ReplyDelete@ annon: Two reasons: one, it has both FLAC and AC3, and two: this show happenes mostly at night, and has almost nothing but dark scenes that need a lot of bits.
why have two tracks? one is audio commentary? Also, will you fix anything in the subs? (actually, as for fixing, maybe you can just add some stuff to the ep 12 script, rest is a-ok)
ReplyDeleteTwo tracks in two formats: AC3 and FLAC. I actually preffer the AC3 for this, for some reason, the FLAC is a little odd. The audio source for this was strange. I was unable to convert it to AAC.
ReplyDeleteI didn't fix anything in the susb so far, except for one line of dialoge in the Bonedaddy episode, and that was just because I REALLY wanted a line to sound different. Episode 12 will need some work as gg forgot to typeset the signs.
Thanks for answering! Sounds really good; just what I needed for archival for this show (well, after getting rid of the flac track)! Ah, and, (quite a lot) in advance: thanks for fixing up ep 12~
ReplyDeleteNow, I guess it's time I rewatch the first four eps.
If you want to get rid of the FLAC, just put all episodes in the same folder, add mkvmerge.exe in that folder, and type this from the command line, or write it in a batch:
ReplyDeleteFOR %B IN (*.mkv) DO mkvmerge --audio-tracks 2 -o "%~nBv2.mkv" "%~B"
Thanks for doing the show, the gags and parodies in this show is priceless.
ReplyDeleteThat's.... useful! thanks, I hadn't bothered looking at the mkvmerge console commands up to now...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the releases..
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it'll be a great watch, thanks!
ReplyDeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteMy question is: How can I fix this error :
http://kepfeltoltes.hu/110906/_DmonHiro__Dororon_Enma-Kun_Meramera_01__BD__720p__10bit__AC3__v2__6605D1B2__12-19-26__www.kepfeltoltes.hu_.jpg
Thoose cubes show at many places :( (I tried Media player classic HC with K-Lite codec 7.5 and KMplayer, but both of them showed the same,). I am not good at these... If you can, please help! This would be a great series!
Ah, that is easy. This release is encoded with 10bit depth. That means they are different then most others. That picture you have prooves that you do not have the required codec to play 10bit encoded videos. The 8bit decored you have installed now cannot interpret the 10bit depth, so it screwed everything up. What you need to play this correctly in the latest CCCP with MPCHC. Also, you cannot use Core AVC or DXVA to playback 10bit content.
ReplyDeleteHere's what you do:
1. Unintall your currrent CCCP and MPCHC.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Download and install this: http://www.cccp-project.net/download.php?type=cccp
4. In you have Core AVC installed, disable it.
5. Restart your PC (not mandatory but recommended).
6. Watch 10bit encoded anime.
Thank you very much! It works fine and it is nice! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy to help.
ReplyDeleteThis is kinda unrelated, but since there's no other way to ask so I'm asking here.
ReplyDeleteWho's gonna release Oretachi? DmonHiro or tlacatc6?
DmonHiro, you did mention about releasing it, so are you planning on releasing it in a batch?
@Danielson I'm playing 10bit contents with K-lite mega pack 7.70 using Mpc HC. No problem at all.
ReplyDelete@HaloGuy: Oretachi is already being released by Howard in both 1080p and 720p. There's no need for me to release it as well.
ReplyDelete@HaloGuy Yes, NOW I know, what do I need to set to play 10bit contents :)
ReplyDeleteI am a bit disappointed with this anime. I want to see Yukiko nipple >.< >.<
ReplyDeleteDr. Slump
ReplyDeletewill there be a batch? I wanna know, since my external hdd died, so this will go on dvds... ^^;;
ReplyDeleteThanks! :D
ReplyDeleteUpload this as batch please. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat about "heroic age"?
ReplyDeleteNo one do it with decent filesize and 10bit release?
Well, now that someone released a garbage 10-bit version - maybe a good team will encode this series properly in 8-bit.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the batch :D exactly 4.35GB, just perfect :D
ReplyDeleteI actually meant to do that. I had to encode two episodes twice because I kept getting 4.5 GB, just 50 or 80 MB over a DVD. Don't worry, the bitrate's higher then it was needed anyway.
ReplyDeleteAlso, lol @ "encode properly in 8-bit". You want 8-bit, asshole? Do it yourself.
hehe, thanks! it's appreciated! btw, now with the 10bit encodes, it sure is far easier to burn anime to dvds, since a series of 12-13 episodes fits just right in one dvd, even in superb quality. Everything more than 4.5GB for 12 episodes would be overkill... for most series anyway; and even Enma goes to the edge only because the animation is one of the best produced lately.
ReplyDeleteI don't know... even though it looks great, I'm not too sure I didn't over compress it. It's probably in my head though.
ReplyDelete10-bit does not work in media players Asus & etc.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know. So?
ReplyDelete10-bit (20, 30... etc. bit) do for yourself and do not spread these rips in the network.
ReplyDeleteit's stimulates people doing normal and actual BD-rips
Oh my God, you are right! If I don't stop right now, all the other major groups like Commie, CoalGirls, Static-Subs, Eclipse are going to start releasing 10bit too....
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm sorry, for a second there I thought this was 3 months ago. But it's OK, you seem to be stuck there as well. Give me a call when you get back to November 2011, where 8 out of 10 groups now release TV anime in 10bit and 9 out of 10 release 10bit DVD/Bluray rips.
In fact, let's make a list of major fansub groups that do not release anime in 10bit: Doki.
ReplyDeleteWow... that sure was a short list.
You are mistaken, Doki release their 1080p rips in 10bit.
ReplyDeleteMazui keep to 8bit, and m33w do their Working in 8bit, since if you compress a Working episode even more, it can get lost in your documents. Mmmyeah, that's about it.
Just hard understand all u , if u dont like 10bit u dont need download , need thank DmonHiro when they sub and post it
ReplyDeleteit sad , BD but no uncencord >"<
ReplyDeleteYeah... quite ironic for a show as perverted and sick as this. Maybe that was the joke. I mean come ON, Yukiko was covered in shit in episode 10.
ReplyDeleteI found this by accident for all you perverted guys:
ReplyDeleteFinal Ep, 19:15ish. Pause and you can see Yukiko's nipple.
That said, this is a show meant to be wacky and over-the-top. The censorship is intended to add to that.
It is the joke. The censor is actually the self portrait of the original creator, Go Nagai. He pretty much became a manga legend because of his perverted humor.
ReplyDeletePlease release Dr.Slump,too. I beg You!
ReplyDeletereseed please for heavens sake
