Suggestions are closed

OK guys, it's that time again. Suggestion time. I know, I know, I haven't really done anything much from the last list, but I lost my job, and RL is a bitch. Anyway, suggest away.
 There are rules, of course:
1. The show must have available raws. Can't encode what I don't have.
2. The show must not have been released in BD before. Also counts if it is currently being released by a group.
3. The show must have been SOFT subtitled. If there are no subs available I won't do it.
4. The BD must not be a crappy upscale. 

For the record: No matter what I pick, it's going to be 720p 10bit video with AAC audio.

    For the sake of throwing out suggestions, I'll contribute ideas.
    Would Shinryaku! Ika Musume Season 2 fit the criteria? Or how about Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon? All I can think of as of this moment. However, if there is a rule regarding how many BDs are available now, then these two may be void, since they both only have volume one released.

    Whatever you decide on, I don't really mind. I've enjoyed just about all of your releases I've gotten, so far.

      The episode has two versions (normal (has one different OP) and extended), but, the group released only one (extended).

    paniponi dash! bd would be awesome but I don't see it happenening. didn't you do dvdrips before? I thought it would be great to have ppd in decent quality and without tl notes/subs burnt into the video. of course even if you did find raws/isos it would be and insane amount of work but thought I'd ask anyway.

      No, I mean I'm only taking suggestions for Bluray releases. I have a pretty decent DVD backlog, and PitaTen is on it. How could I pass up a show with a happy Tamura Yukari-voiced angel?

    I found the Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi on Kyo Music City, but you need 22 or higher permission to see the links :( I'm only 10, if you find someone who has an account there and has 22 or more points of permission he/she can provide the links.

      You are correct, he does not.
      However, you have 2 options:
      1. Download from Final8, he has both 1080 and 720p and UTW subs.
      2. Wait for UTW to release bluray version.
      I got Final8 and am happy with it.

    I love dantalian but I don't think it should be re-done over something else just because of filesize (unless theres no better choice!), I vote for Seikon no Qwaser S2 because even though "it's been done" it's of generally poor/mediocre quality all round

    How about Soukyuu no Fafner Dead Aggressor Heaven and Earth? The RAWs are available at Nyaa, as well as the subs, no one did the BD if I am not mistaken, and I've yet to hear anything from any other groups that are interested in doing it... So what say you?

    The BD-Box was released in the end of last year, and I think I've seen the BDMVs in the internet...
    I know THORA and Rising Sun are releasing it, but none of them is doing a 720p, so...

      That being said, Maria Holic is helluva lot typeset. I would love to see it too, but... Commie is bound to finish it some time in the future, and there is no need to do all this typeset twice if you are not crazy... Since I missed seeing Final8's release of LoLH, I guess more or less my needs for BD rips are fulfilled --if we don't count the last season, but the BDs for most of the shows ain't out yet. Maybe Nekogami? Tho I admit that the chance all bdmvs to turn up is pretty low...

      I actually got tired of waiting for Hiryuu and muxed IB subs into the BD raws myself... the only difference between the two versions is that the ending song in the last ep (13) is longer, cause they added credits. Though I'd also really love a version I could archive, maybe with small sub fixes (not that it needs that many, it's near perfect).

      Jokes aside, Chihiro is taken as a low tier group mainly by those who prefer more localized subs - in other words those who dislike kristen's view on what a perfect fansub should be. For the record, I dislike kristen's views too, so I would download only a release using 8thsin's translation. And, again for the record, Hadena is closer to kristen's views than UTW.

      From the last season: Kimi to Boku? Never got around to watching it, although people tend to like it, and BDs started going out...

      That smarts for two reasons:
      1. You're right, the subs for the second half are pretty bad.
      2. They're all mine. They got a little better after 37 when I started doing my own TL from zero, but still not as good as I want them to be. I redid 15-26 a long time ago, when Chihiro released the second batch. Then... let's just say I left. I still have everything I need to release v2s for the second half. AND AS GOD IS MY WITNESS I WILL DO IT!!!!

    Someone suggested Dog Days with IB subs above, and I'd like to make a request for considering that combo too. Esp if it is easy to mix everything in except with the last chapter?
