Minamoto
Momo lives a quiet, uneventful life. One day she sees what she wasn’t
supposed to see: the secret Tsukikage organization fighting against the
minions of Moryo, a group bent on world domination through drugs. It
turns out that Momo has what it takes to join the ninjas of Tsukikage,
so she becomes their new recruit. By tasting a particular spice, the
members of Tsukikage gain superhuman abilities that help them fight to
protect the city.
A cute little “spy” show, it’s more of a slice-of-ninja-life then anything action oriented, though it does have some cool action scenes. The gimmick of them getting powers from spices is, sadly, kind of pointless. It doesn’t really matter where they get their powers in my opinion. They could have just as well had nano-machines (son). Still an enjoyable watch. The intermissions are picture dramas. They are not translated though. Long enough to be 2 more episodes, actually. Hope you enjoy.
PS: Next release is UQ Holder.
