Ueno-san Wa Bukiyou (Series rating: 9/10)

Ueno is a genius. She makes inventions that can revolutionize the world on a daily basis. From equipment that can create drinkable water out of nowhere to a device that creates life from inanimate objects, Ueno can make them all. Too bad the only thing she ever does with them is make convoluted plans to get Tanaka to notice her feelings for him. Also doesn’t help that most of her plans are perverted: trying to get Tanaka to drink water made from her own urine, having him sniff her leggings so he gets attached to her smell, etc… Tanaka, for his part, seems not to notice. Or does he? Over the course of the series he gets to do things that most people would have to travel to a third world country and pay through the nose to do. So maybe Tanaka is not as dense as he seems.
It’s hard to do anime comedies well. Ueno-san does. It’s so over the top that is actually made me laugh out loud. I kind of feel sorry for Ueno though. She cannot catch a break.Subs from Erai. Enjoy.
