A man has to keep his word... unless he's way too late and thus his endever is now pointless...

 So yeah... Cloud is doing a DVD version. Said DVD version does have lower video quality, but is uncensored. Apparently there was a lot of stuff that was fixed for the DVD version. He also has subs that are on par with mine. So... yeah... no point in me continuing this. I'm going to go and see if I can help him in any way.


Everything is on hold. I've put this off long enough. This is it. This is the only project I'm going to work on untill it's finished. Everything else is stalled. There will be two exceptions: the final volume of Tiger & Bunny and the fist batch of Ikoku Meiro no Croisee.
ZTC releases start next week. Also, please answer the poll question.

    O snap you are starting on it, cool, look forward to your release on this. I was getting it from someone else, but they have it stalled for the time being.

    Awesome, I've been waiting for this for like 2-3+?? years. I remember because I followed all the ZKC-Chihiro releases from way back then.

    I don't know if I should be excited or disappointed. But then again, working on this will give time for the Blurays for several other series to come out. Additionally, it seems like a decent, if not good series.
    If I had to say, I'd say good decision, and I look forward to this.

    Thank, give me a good excuse to rewatch the series so I can watch to new ova and actually remember things. Funny thing is, the main reason I even watched this show was because I ssw Nabeshin in the staff.

    TV rips. Show never got a Bluray release, and the DVDs are worse then the TV rips.

    The DVDs may be worse in absolute quality, but apparently there are some uncensored scenes.

    Even if there are uncensored scenes I don't think it worth the downscale from 720p to 480p.
    Besides the maximum nudity I've ever seen in ZKC involved panchira(pantsu)shots.
    It's not like we actually get to see some quality pettanko chests...

    In short, TV version please.

    I'm sorry that it's not "D4 Princess". There's no English subs for that. For ZKC, viewers can at least muddle through with the Chihiro release.

    OMG, it's true...
    Now based upon that visual comparison I do see that a DVD is required...
    though the TV series did look great in 720p.
    Guess DmonHiro has the final word...the greatness of 720p or the uncensoredness of the DVD both have their own charm.
    So Dmon what is YOUR preference?

    There is no way in hell I'm going to download the DVD ISO/raws for a 51 episode show, encode them (if ISO) and retime the subs. If this ever gets a BD release, yeah, but for DVD, no.

    Seems this cloud guy is doing the DVD's in a rather round-about way...
    Provided he knows what he's doing you can use the timings of his script and just add in the correct translation???

    Cloud is using Spanish scripts, so he is just translating them again to English and trying to fix as much as possible. I see nothing wrong on some parts, a few yeah, but he might edit them after he is done, just that he takes a while to finish it.
