Kishin Douji Zenki (Series rating: 6/10)

Hundreds of years ago, the great priest Ozunu Enno fought off the demon goddess Karuma. Once the seal was in place, he also sealed his most powerful servant, Zenki. Zenki’s seal should be removed when the evils of Karuma would once again show themselves. This task befalls his descendant, Chiaki Enno. Evil seeds of the demon goddess have appeared and possess anyone weak enough to fall prey to their promises. Now Chiaki must unseal Zenki and together vanquish the evil once of for all. One problem though: Zenki hates taking orders and doesn’t really like humans that much. And Chiaki’s not a very skilled priestess. Good think Ozunu put a double seal on Zenki so he couldn’t just do whatever he wanted once awakened. Now Chiaki and Zenki are stuck together and must learn to get along, or die.

Another remux. This is an old, not that popular show from the mid 90s. I liked it enough, but it does have some problems. It’s an action fantasy show with a heavy Japanese mysticism feel to it. It’s great if you love youkain and onmyoujis. It’s very similar to Inuyasha (yes, I’m still working on that). I guess that’s why I liked it. Hell, Zenki and Inuyasha share the same voice actor. My problem with Zenki is that it has a very slow start, the second half is kind of… meh… and it has this talent of wasting time. Especially with the reused animation. Does the same thing TOEI does: at least once an episode you have a long transformation sequence. Gets worse in the second half where you can have two, plus another one for summoning the special weapon. Still, I enjoyed it. The first opening is a complete banger. VAJURA ON!

The video source is from the R1 release, as such so are the subtitles. Internal vobsubs.
This release contains some extras, so let me explain:
  1. Kishin Douji Zenki Softsubs.zip. This archive contains sotfsubs. I did not make them. They are from another release. They are timed to this release, but I have no verified them, just gave them the same style. Use at your own risk. It’s for those people that complain about vobsubs. Don’t expect this for every release that uses vobsubs though. I’m not putting any extra effort, these were just already available.
  2. “Things Missing From The R1 Release” folder. Literally that. For some reason, the extras from the Japanese release were only ever released in Japan and China. The reast of the world never got the 2nd opening, or the 2nd and 3rd endings. The only available copy of these extras are from the DVD rip of Simu. Sadly, it’s a very bad upscale. Look for yourself: http://www.framecompare.com/image-compare/screenshotcomparison/77ZZGNNX
  3. Gaiden OVA. Zenki had an OVA. It does not fit into the timeline of the anime or the manga. It’s also not that well animated but it does have Chiaki’s boobs. Sadly, it’s quite rare. You can either watch a very low bitrate/resolution version with bad audio or an upscale with washed out over-cropped video. Pick your poison.

Joshikousei No Mudazukai (Series rating: 6/10)

Tanaka Nozomu decided to give all her friends nicknames based on their personality. The otaku became Wota, the emotionless girl became Robo, the small girl became Loli, the delusional girl became Yamai, the serious girl became Majime. So what nickname did Nozomu get? Baka, obviously.

A slice of live comedy about a group of high-school girls. These shows are the hardest to write a description about because what more can I say? I didn’t think the first 2 episodes were funny, so I passed this one up when it was airing. Shouldn’t have done that because the show got much better. Sure, you won’t be dying of laughter, but it’s quite amusing. Ended up a pretty good way to pass the time.

Subs are from Erai.

Kanamemo (Series rating: 6/10)

Nakamachi Kana was living with her grandma, her only living relative. Sadly, she too passed away, leaving Kana all alone. Having nowhere to go, she is forced to get a job at a local newspaper. There she meets other young women down on their luck, forced to work under a strict manager that puts the job before anything else, regardless of how much the girls have to suffer.
Yeah, this is actually a comedy. Kana’s not really all alone, she just thinks she is. The other girls at the paper enjoy the work and the strict manager is an elementary school girl. The only suffering is brought by Haruka’s molestation attempts and the occasional barking dog.

Another older show. This never got a BD in Japan, so this is really an upscale. But it’s better then the DVD version, and the subtitles are actually accurate for one. Yeah, we all remember the Underwater subs, but looking over them, they had a lot of errors. Anyway, I enjoyed this show. It’s very cute. My only problem was Haruka. The lesbian lolicon joke was dated even then, and here it’s done every single episodes multiple times. It got really annoying really quickly. If Haruka wasn’t voiced by Horie Yui, I would that skipped past those scenes.

This is from the US BD, internal PGS subtitles. Yellow, for some insane reason.

Girly Air Force (Series rating: 9/10)

Humanity is attacked by a mysterious force called the Xi. They attack with high-speed aerial force that is completely beyond humanities best fighters. Not only can they perform impossible quick turns they also jam any electronic device in their vicinity making tracking them impossible. While regular missiles do destroy them, it’s next to impossible because they cannot be locked on to. This all changes with the creation of Animas. An Anima is the humanoid “core” of an enhanced plane. This core gives the place abilities that can surpass the Xi. There are numerous limitations though: the correct process for creating an Anima is not really knows and only one Anima can exist for a type of plane.

During an evacuation from China, who fell to Xi forces, Narutani Kei si separated from his parents and attacked by the Xi. He is saved by a strange machine that destroys the Xi, but then crashes itself in the ocean. Desperate to save the pilot that had saved him, Kei rushes to the plane only to find a beautiful girl inside that kisses him before passing out. Later, while trying to find out who that girl and the plane is, Kei is “recurited” in the army and made the partner of Gripen, the first Anima of Japan.

OK, here’s a premise that on paper made this anime out to be crap. But I checked it out anyway because Gripen was cute. I am very glad I did. This was the one show of the season that I watched the second it downloaded because I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. They managed to take a used idea (girls as avatars on ships/planes/etc) and make it entertaining by modifying the formula just a bit. Gripen is not an ace pilot/avatar with OP abilities. She’s actually… pretty stupid. And before Kei came along she was pretty useless as well. And she’s slow. But she’s also really sweet. Her interactions with Kei were diabetes inducing. Eagle and Phantom are pretty nice too, though Eagle’s immature behavior and Phantom’s smugness do get irritating at times. Rhyno was also really interesting, but her backstory was… dark.
This anime is basically a spiritual successor of Air Combat, the video games. And the air battles are pretty damn cool. But what really impressed me was the final arc. The series doesn’t end with an epic battle, though there is a battle. Instead we get a very Silent Hill-like final episodes that were genuinely creepy that end with a look inside the head of the Xi, and it’s not pretty. Subs by Horrible-Subs.

Tales Of Eternia (Series rating: 6/10)

Two world exist, mirroring each other: Inferia and Celestia. The worlds can see each other, but cannot interact. Until now. On Inferia, Reid , Farah and Keele have been friends all their life. One day, out of nowhere, a strange girl falls from the sky in front of them. This girl speaks an unknown language. She’s Meredy, from Celestia. And she’s there to seek help in stopping what could be the end of both worlds: the Grand Fall. The two worlds are set to collide with each other and kill off every living thing. It’s up to them to stop it. But along the way they stop off an exotic island to have a side-adventure: this anime.

If I said it was based on the video game it would be a stretch. This literally IS a side-quest. On the bright side you don’t need to know anything about the game other then the synopsis in order to enjoy the standard fantasy adventure anime. It does look pretty good, but I’m biassed because I love this aesthetic. There’s nothing wrong with the show, but it’s a fairly standard story. Some fights, some comedy and a flimsy story to string it together. You’ve probably seen this 100 times, but if you’re in the mood for some 00’ anime, why the hell not?
This is a TV rip. It’s quite rare when anime is re-aired on Japanese TV. Even better when the TV rip looks better then the DVD. The video is from Reinforce. The subtitles, on the other hand, I have no idea where they came from. I got them off a Russian website. It’s funny because the crappy DVD rips I had of this (which removed the OP and ED) had a disclaimer at the beginning saying that they have no clue where the subs came from either. Anyway, I think these are the same subs that were posted in a now dead link at the Reinforce torrent. Enjoy.

Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress - The Movies (Series rating: 8/10)

A horrible virus is plaguing the land. Those infected become mindless corpses walking around trying to infect others by biting them. There is no cure, and what is worse, these walking corpses are immortal unless their heart is pierced. And said heart is protected by an organic steel cage making killing them almost impossible. Ikoma is a young man living peacefully in a small village. He’s a bit of an inventor, working on a weapon that could pierce the heart of the corpses. When the village is attacked by the corpses and Ikoma himself is bitten he makes one last gamble. One of his inventions is supposed to stop the virus from infecting you. To his surprise, not only does it work, but it turns him into a hybrid. He has the strength of the corpses, but his mind is intact. He meets Mumei, a young girl who is extremely adept at killing the corpses. Together they set of on a journey with no real mission then to survive.

It’s the Zombie Apocalypse in Feudal Steampunk Japan! So, the first two movies are just a recap of the TV series with a couple of new scenes at the beginning and the end. Nothing revolutionary but it does have 5.1 sound. The third movie is the actual sequel to the TV series. I found the movie quite nice. The antagonist was much better then Biba, who was a little bitch to the end. All three movies look and sound great, of course. Hope they continue the franchise.

Subtitles are from Crunchyroll.

Divergence Eve (Series rating: 8/10)

Another blast from the past. One of the first sci-fi series I ever saw, and it holds a special place in my heart. Truth be told, I did not care much for it until I finished the second season (which this torrent includes). When everything was pieced together I appreciated a lot more. The series does have some problems. First of which is, as you may have noticed, the character design. The boobs are HUGE. And they don’t more the way boobs move. Truth be told, I think they didn’t really know what they wanted to do with this series at the beginning. The first couple of episodes really have a lot of unnecessary fanservice. Then they settled on a sci-fi horror story and it worked far better. The huge boobs can be distracting during the more serious moments. But the story, in mu opinion, makes up for it. Be warned that the first 13 episodes are told kind of out of order. Episode 01 is actually episode 12, chronologically. I think they did that to make you interested in the story, but with zero context, you’re not going to have any clue what happens.

The source for this were the R2 DVDs, using the R1 subs. Contains both seasons.

Re;Zero - Starting Life In Another World From Zero - Director's Cut (Series rating: 10/10)

Natsuki Subaru was just your average NEET who went to a 7/11 and was transported into another world. Since there’s nothing he can do about it, he decided to make the best of it. He’s helping out cute elf girls find their stolen goods. He’s dying. He’s meeting a cute thief. He’s dying. He’s meeting murderous exotic women. He’s dying. Hey… want a minute. What’s with all the dying? Well, turns out that Subaru did in fact get a super power when he got transported. He can return to a specific point in time after he dies. It’s basically a savepoint. But he can’t control it and it moves around at random, though only forward. Now Subaru has to navigate this world while trying his best not do die and keep his new friend alive. Why is he doing this? Because he fell in love with Emillia, the half-elf girl, the second he saw her. Well, Natsuki Subaru is in for a wild ride.

Oh boy, this show. Absolutely loved this show. Watched every episode each week and not one episode disappointed. This show is brutal to Subaru though. Not only does he die, but he get traumatized to the point of insanity TWICE. The guy has some serious PTSD. He’s also not your typical MC. He’s not really a good person. He’s decent, and tries to do good, but he has many flaws and insecurities. And he’s better get over them if he wants to reach his goal of making Emillia the queen. The supporting cast is strong, with the exception of, ironically, Emillia. She’s not a bad character, it’s just that at this point in the story there’s not much for her to do. We’ll have to wait for season 2 to get some Emillia character development. Speaking of which, Subaru’s development basically goes forward, backward, sideways… I’m actually surprised he’s still sane.

A bit of an explanation. This is the Director’s Cut. What the means is that the 25 episode series was spliced into 13 double-episodes. There were a few new scenes that were added that were so short you will not notice them. What was actually added that was brand new was a segment at the end of the 13th episode. That is what you really want if you’ve already seen the series. I’ve also added all the extras I had for the regular version. The subtitles are from Erai with the exception of “Starting Break Time From Zero”. Those have subs from Bluraydesuyo.

Nurse Angel Ririka SOS (Series rating: 10/10)

Click here for the DVD rip.

Click here for the DVD remux.

Ririka is just your average 10 year old girl. She spends time with her best friend Seya, and has a crush on her senpai. But little does she know that Kanou-senpai is actually an agent from another world sent here to save our planet from the evil of Black Joker. He is searching for the legendary Nurse Angel, the only one who can use the green vaccine to destroy the black vaccine used by Black Joker. And would you know it? Ririka just happens to be Nurse Angel.

If you haven’t figured it out, this is a magical girl series not unlike many before it, right? WRONG! This series is harsh. Before there was Madoka there was Ririka.
Ain’t no easy fights here. The dark side has unlimited supplies of the black vaccine but the green vaccine is very limited. And you ain’t finding any more. The battles are hard fought and nobody’s walking away without at least some pain. And guess what? Your family isn’t safe and the bad guys WILL go after them. The story starts off harsh but ends up fucking BRUTAL by the end. It’s a mahou shoujo as written by Nietzsche. Give the poor girl a break.
This show had a pretty high viewer count when it aired. Just one problem: it was the wrong viewers. The sponsor was a toy company who wanted to sell to kids. The viewers were mostly adults because the story was pretty girl and damn well written. Sponsors were not happy. Neither were the viewers, for the most part. The last two episodes just curbstomp your heart into the ground and then set it on fire.

VS Knights Of Lamune & 40 Fresh (Series rating: 1/10)

FUCK! THIS! SHOW!FOREVER!
Now that we got that out of the way, let me explain. I fucking hate this OVA. I hate it with the passion of a million devout religious worshipers. This “sequel” to VS Fire is a complete insult, and for a long time it was the only part of the franchise that was available in English. They went from a comedy to a military drama. They went from happy to bleak. And for no goddamn reason. So, there is no comedy in this show. At all. What did they replace it with? Boobs. Lot’s of boobs. Parfait and Cacao spend 50% of the runtime completely nude. Why, you ask? Well, Parfait has a mecha that uses liquid as a shock absorber, so she pilots it naked. And Cacao’s divinations now require her to be naked and/or masturbate to orgasm. First off, that’s dumb. Using liquid as a shock absorber is suicidal. Second off, that is not how the divinations worked in the original. These are just cheap excuses to have the girls naked. I like T&A, as my upload list shows. But seeing Parfait and Cacao like this feels icky, like going to a strip club to watch your daughter perform. But that’s not all. Who doesn’t want to see the new Lamunes sexually abuse an android girl while the naked, still alive body of Drum from Fire is mounted on a wall behind him? Or him almost raping and then torturing Cacao? You know what this show is like? It’s like you just finished watching Card Captor Sakura, and then someone gives you an official OVA where Sakura is raped in an alley. Who the fuck came up with this, and why was it given the green light? Even if you don’t have any of the problems I have with this show, you still won’t have a good time because the show is boring. Yes, it has mecha, hot girls, nudity, and it’s STILL fucking boring. Anyway, enough of my rant, and fuck this show.

As for the release, it’s quite fitting that the video source is ass. It’s better then the US DVD, but that was one complete ass, so it’s still better. Clearly nobody gave a shit enough to give this series a decent DVD. And why should they?

VS Knights Of Lamune & 40 Fire (Seies rating: 9/10)

Years after the previous series, a new hero rises: Lamunade. He’s a video game expert who one day meets two cute girls, Parfait and Cacao, who sell him a video game. After beating it, he is transported to the DokiDoki Space, where he must stop Don Genosai from awakening an ancient evil: the dreaded Abraham. Things don’t go so well for our hero though, and he is helpless to fight. That is until an unexpected ally comes to help. It’s Da Cider, and he joins the quest to defeat Don Gonosai. But all is not what it seems. Lamunade keeps having strange flashbacks to event he should not know about. Also, the two strangers to keep helping out sound a lot like his parents.

HELL YEAH! Now this is where it’s at. I love this series. It’s got everything. Everything NG did well, VS does better. Better battles, better character development, better story, better mecha designs and most important: better jokes. You still need to know about Japanese games and stuff to get the jokes, but since this show is from the 90s, you have a better change of knowing what they’re talking about. About the story: this shit gets dark. I mean like… DARK. I’m not even sure the ending counts as a happy ending. But the ride was well worth it. What a good place to end the franchise on…

I don’t know who made the subs. I got them from a subtitle site so I don’t know who to credit. DVD remux. Though it seems this and NG are getting a SD BD in August. If the BD has better quality, I’ll be back.

NG Knight Lamune & 40 (Series rating: 7/10)

So, this show is a parody. It’s kind of like Guru Guru, but with mecha. We warned, this show is very fond of puns, some of which do not translate well. There are also a lot of jokes you will not get unless you are familiar with other anime that were airing at the time. For example, in episode 30, Lamuness and Da Cider both team up with aspiring idols to help them win a contest. Said idols are furry versions of the main characters in Idol Densetsu Eriko and Idol Tenshi Youkoso Youko. Also, the plot is very silly, since it was a children’s anime, but does have some cool serious moments. To me, the show was decent, but nothing special. But the franchise keeps getting better and better with each sequel, untill crashing and burning with the last installment. We’ll get to that one eventually.
About this release

You might have noted that this release is 47 GB. You are probably wondering why, since this is a DVD show. Well, here’s the thing: I hate encoding DVDs. It’s a 25 year old technology that did serve its purpose. But I have never been able to encode a DVD and then say “Yeah, I’m happy with this.”. I always feel like quality was lost. And to be fair, it usually does lose. This is a remux. What was on the DVDs is here, just split into episodes. With this, I am happy. I know it’s huge, but I HATE losing quality when encoding from a DVD. If someone wants to encode this, be my guest. But this is how I will be releasing DVD releases from now on, when possible.

The subtitles are from BlueLobster, which I believe are from Crunchyroll.

PS: I will be releasing the entire franchise in this format. Hold on to your HDD space, it’s gonna be a 100GB ride.

Arifureta Shokugyou De Sekai Saikyou (Series rating: 8/10)

Nagumo Hajime and his entire class are transported to another world. There, they are all welcomed as heroes who will save the world and each receive a class. Sadly for Hajime, his class is Synergist, and it’s considered useless. When they journey into a dungeon and get ambushed though, it’s Hajime’s quick thinking that lets them survive the encounter. But as they are escaping someone attacks Hajime, knocking him off a cliff. He is then left for dead. But Hajime didn’t die. Through sheer will power and rage, he survives. What’s more, he does something to stupid, so insane and so desperate that is pays off: he is now unbelievably powerful and he’s going to use that power to crawl out of the dungeon. On his way out he meets and saves Yue, the last vampire, who was also betrayed and trapped in the dungeon. They form a powerful bond and their adventure is ass kicking and love making begins.

Oh boy… this show is a mess. Production wise, I don’t know what happened, but the first episode is almost unwatchable. It’s very hard to see what is going on, the story is disjointed and the directing seems non-existing. Thankfully, once Hajime meets Yue it gets much better. I enjoyed it a lot because Hajime just doesn’t give a fuck. He will shoot you mid sentence if you mess with him. I love that ruthlessness. I also love that the revenge angle is very played down. Hajime is pissed at whoever betrayed him, but it’s very low on his priority list. On a technical side, the show doesn’t do so well. The CG is the worst offender. It’s hideous. But if you can get past that you’re in for a ride, with an OP protagonist that thankfully has no qualms about killing his enemies. And if you mess with his harem, he’ll kill you slowly if he has the time. Oh, and there’s fanservice.

Subtitles are from Mad le Zisell for the episodes and Hikki for the prologue and specials.

Han-Gyaku-Sei Million Arthur (Series rating: 7/10)

Excaliburs: extremely powerful (and random) artifacts that appear through time. Arthurs: people (usually) who wield an Excalibur. Problem is they tend to change history and make a complete mess of the continuum. Enter our team of six heroes. Their goal is to go to different eras and destroy the Excaliburs that appeared there, and maintain history the way it is meant to be. Lead by Dancho Arthur, they go on many adventures and fight their way to victory through wit and strength. Sadly, they have more of the later then the former.

Based on the Million Arthur multi-media franchise, this show is a parody. It’s filled with fanservice, references and the occasional serious moment. I enjoyed it, but don’t think about it too much. The main characters are not the brightest in the world. The leader, Dancho, is a perpetually horny lesbian who’s not afraid of showing a lot of skin in order to raise the spirits of her teammates. This only annoys them though. Fact is, she’s a very attractive woman, but her antics tend to make people think she’s nuts rather then sexy. Each of the heroes has a fairy companion who’s job is supporting them, and reigning in their more destructive tendencies.

This torrent contains both seasons. The subtitles are from Erai. Sadly, the subtitles are incomplete. Each episode has a very strange extra segment at the end of the episode. Starting with season 2 this segment was left untranslated in the subs. Unfortunate.

NG Knight Lamune & 40 DX (Series rating: 8/10)

Here’s the second OVA series. While the TV show and EX were pretty good, DX is, in my opinion, excellent. Be warned that you need some knowledge of old anime and video games to get all the jokes though.

We’re back in the fantasy world, and Lamune and Da Cider have a new mission: find and rescue a pain of beautiful, almost naked, young women, while trying to keep Milk and Leska from finding out about it. Guess how that turns out for them.

The raws for this one are .wmv. Cannot be helped. Subs from Cruncyroll.

NG Knight Lamune & 40 EX (Series rating: 6/10)

About a year ago, someone finally released a good subbed version of NG Knight Lamune. It was BlueLobster, and he named it Ramune. I like Lamune though. Either way, it came to my attention that the 2 OVA series never got a proper release. And that’s too bad, because I really like this show. So here’s the first OVA series.

Right after the end of the TV series, Lamune is back on Earth, but without his memories. The remnant of Gobuhriki followed. And then his allies from the TV show. Mayhem ensues.
I can’t remember where I found the raws. The subtitles are from Crunchyroll.

Casshern Sins (Series rating: 9/10)

Robots eventually advanced so much that they could be indistinguishable from humans are a glance. They had emotions and could feel just like a human. Sadly, this eventually led to an all out war between the humans led by Luna and the robots led by Braiking Boss. Fearing Luna’s power, Brainking boss sent his top warriors to find and kill her. It was the strongest warrior, Casshern, that eventually killed Luna. But that was a mistake. Along with Luna, the world also seemed to die. Plant life withered away, poisoned filled the air and water. Humans died easily, either from sickness or from battling the robots. The robots didn’t fare much better though. The pollution in the air also corroded their minds and bodies. A plague called “the Ruin” made robots fearful of death for the first time. Now, hundreds of years later, the Earth is a wasteland where most of the robots are mindless monsters killing seemingly at random. Only a handful or them have kept their sanity and their body, but none are safe from the Ruin. Except for one: Casshers. He wonders the world having lost his memories. The Ruin cannot affect him and he is immortal now. He is looking for a meaning in his life.

If I had to describe this show in one word, that word would be “bleak”. The world is dying and there is nothing anyone can do about it. The few individuals who have kept their sanity do what they can to keep hope alive. They even started rumors that Luna is alive, and can stop the Ruin. Or that eating Casshern can stop the Ruin. There are no real bases for those rumors, but they show the desperation of those still alive. In the end, this show is about accepting death. The colors in this show are very muted to better portray how the world is ending. I don’t think the Sun shined more then a handful of times during the whole show. The characters were pretty great, and get a fair level of development. The story is a bit convoluted and I’m pretty sure I didn’t understand all of it. For example, I still have no idea what what episode 18 meant. Maybe I’m just stupid. All in all, this is a great show that makes you think.

Digimon Tamers (Series rating: 10/10)

Takato loves Digimon. He loves it so much that he even made up his own Digimon: Guilmon. He drew it and everything. One day though a miracle happened. Gilmon came to life, straight out of the drawing. How is this possible? Well, it turns out that Digimon are real. And now they’re making their way into the real world. Problem is most of them are not so peaceful. But would you be calm if you were suddenly teleported into a different world? Keep in mind that most Digimon are basically wild animals. It’s up to Takato and his new friends to try and keep the peace, as Digimon Tamers. But that’s not as easy when you not only have to watch out for wild Digimon but also for a shadowy government agency that is hell bent on destroying any Digimon that appears in the real world.

Holy damn, is this show good! I don’t mean it’s a good Digimon anime. I mean it’s a good anime, period. Almost everything about this anime is fantastic, except the animation sometimes (thank you, TOEI, as usual). The characterization is some of the best I’ve ever seen in anime, and the story is gripping. It’s also the bleakest of the Digimon anime, in my opinion. It threw its share of gut punches out of nowhere, let me tell you. Also… love Cthulhu Mythos much, mister writer, Chiaki J. Konaka? You can tell he wrote Serial Experiments Lain. If you like Digimon. Watch this. If you don’t like Digimon, also watch this.

Senryu Girl (Series rating: 8/10)

Yukishiro Nanako is a very cute high school girl. But she’s such a scatterbrain that she has trouble organizing her thoughts. To get around this problem she no longer speaks. She uses her board to write senryu on it. It’s a type of 3 sentence poem. She has a crush on fellow literature club member and ex delinquent (?) Busujima Eiji. Eiji likes her too, but both of them are super awkward. Hijinks ensue.

A cute SOL anime about a cute girl trying to get together with her crush. While the character is silent in universe, we get to hear her lovely voice read out the poems she writes. There’s also the canvas girl, who has trouble expressing herself so she draws her own expressions. She’s also adorable.
This is encoded from the US BD. Subtitles are external from Erai and internal from the US BDs. Since they were already in the files, there was no point in muxing them out. The English dub was not so lucky. Look forward to Dias_Flac thanking me for using internal subtitles, like the moron he is.
