Mikazuki Subaru is a depressed, shy novelist. He’s not very good with people. Also, he does not want a cat. Through no fault of his own, he ends up with a cat. Little did he know that bonding with the little creature would help him learn how to let other people into his life. Haru, the stray, has had a rough life. So she doesn’t know how to trust humans. She does not understand why this strange human would try and take care of her. It must be a trick.
Do you like cats? Of course you do, you’re on the internet. Then you will love this show. Haru is absolutely adorable and watching her is a delight. The show also does a good job at showing things from the perspective of Haru and the other animals. It also gets a bit sad at times, with the flashbacks of both Subaru and Haru. This show is also great for cat faces. Just look at these.
